Though the wireless communication industry is moving at a fast pace with a number of product launches happening almost every day, the analyser and tester market for this segment seems to be a little slow with very few product launches in the last one year

The CMW100 is a compact RF tester for production environments, and is used for test cases right from the calibration stage to verification, till the final test in non-signalling mode. It supports testing of up to eight RF ports, and shortens the calibration and verification time compared to any single-DUT testing, the company claims, thus reducing the development time. Company sources also claim that this product offers high measurement accuracy due to its fully automatic level, frequency and temperature compensation concept. The CMW100 is considered to be an automated requirement for all major chipset suppliers.
