Monday, September 29, 2014: Fluke has appointed Arindam Majumdar as new managing director and country head of Fluke in India. Arindam Majumdar will be succeeding Joey Joseph from Oct 2014. Majumdar possesses immense experience in the industrial sector. Prior to this, he had worked with GE and Alstom. At Alstom he served as the MD of Substation Automation at Alstom T&D and with his massive skills he had managed to transform the regional business unit into a global Center of Excellence for electro-mechanical relays and engineered cubicles.
Arindam Majumdar is also known for his huge achievements at GE, as he controlled the Equipment & Projects sales at GE Consumer & Industrial sector, leading to a turnaround through market creation, strategic pricing as well as building a strong Sales & Engineering team.
Of late, he served as Director of India Operations at GE Critical Power, attaining growth through differentiated strategies in core markets, adjacent segments and new geographies. He is a talented and versatile leader, whose engagement at several sites of Fluke globally and contact with distributors & customers has made him well familiar with how Fluke and the broader Danaher operate.
